Span 1, 2, 3 - We discussed the history behind the Día de los Muertos and then watched a documentary.
Span 1 - We reviewed pronouns and -AR verbs with the dice game and a worksheet.
Span 2 - We reviewed TOPPP ELF with a graded worksheet and took notes over possessive adjectives. Span 3 - We began our Día de los Muertos unit with a powerpoint and then watched a documentary. Span 1 - We reviewed the conjugation of -AR verbs and did practice activities in small groups.
Span 2 - We played Spanish pop trivia! Span 3 - We handed in our foldables and took the Chapter 3 test over the art unit. Span 1 - We took notes over pronouns and -AR verbs.
Span 2 - We took the midpoint assessment. Span 3 - We took notes over the symbolism in Frida Kahlo's paintings and began work on a study guide in preparation for tomorrow's test. Span 1 - Today we took our vocab quiz over classes. We also began a poster project over our class schedules. For this project, you will create 6 boxes on poster paper (see me for paper). Each box will contain an illustration depicting your 6 classes this semester, along with a descriptive paragraph:
Yo tengo la clase de (CLASS) en la (#) hora. Es (adjective). El profesor/La profesora es Sr./Sra./Srta. (last name). Span 2 - We took our vocab quiz over daily routines. We also did review notes over SER vs. ESTAR (TOPPP ELF) and completed practice activities. Span 3 - We took our vocab quiz over art. We completed practice activities with the imperfect vs. preterite and completed a partner worksheet for a grade. Span 1 - We took notes on classroom adjectives and completed a writing assignment to decribe our current classes.
Span 2 - We completed a partner interview using reflexive verbs and read an article over good sleep habits in Spanish. Span 3 - We reviewed the Imperfect vs. Preterite situations with the dice game and whiteboards. We also began reading an article over Mexican folk art for our culture notebooks. Span 1 - We continued vocabulary notes, and read a skit for comprehension points. See the makeup box.
Span 2 - We reviewed reflexive verbs and created paragraphs over our own daily routines. We also played the dice game in small groups using the reflexive verbs. Span 3 - We watched a biography over Frida Kahlo's life and art. Span 1 - We handed in this unit's foldable, took our chapter 1B test (personality) and began notes over the next vocab section.
Span 2 - We took notes on reflexive verbs and filled out a Venn Diagram of our daily routines. Span 3 - We took notes over the Imperfect VS Preterite tenses and completed review games. |
