Span 1, 2 and 3 - Today all classes worked on reading an article and answering questions about Hispanic National Heritage Month (Sept. 15 - Oct. 15).
Span 1 - We practiced our new vocabulary with activities on google classroom and a partner worksheet. We played bingo for vocab review.
Span 2 - We created our new foldable (Rutina Diaria) and took notes over Reflexive Verbs. We practiced these verbs with an activity on google classroom. We also began brainstorming for a project that we will be working on next week (see me for details).
Span 3 - We completed a vocab organizer with our Camping Unit vocabulary. We reviewed vocab with Kahoot and bingo.
Span 1 - We took the test over Likes/Dislikes and created a new foldable. We also took notes in our foldable over "personality."
Span 2 - We reviewed vocab with an organizer (see the make up box), Kahoot and bingo.
Span 3 - We handed in our foldables and took the test over the Art Unit. We continued reading "Frida, Leiber Frida" available on google classroom.
Span 1 - We took brief notes on our vocabulary sheet and reviewed for tomorrow's test with activities on google classroom.
Span 2 - We collected foldables and took the test over the extracurricular unit. We completed vocabulary over our new unit (Daily Routines).
Span 3 - We continued working with DOPs and IOPs and completed a review worksheet. We discussed what to expect on tomorrow's test over our Art Unit, and we read the next section of the Frida biography, available on google classroom (Frida, Leiber Frida).
Span 1 - We presented our Likes/Dislikes slideshows to the class!
Span 2 - We reviewed time expressions with sentence practice and a partner activity. We discussed tomorrow's test (Extracurricular Activities unit) and began vocab notes over our new unit (Daily Routines).
Span 3 - We created a "cheat sheet" of irregular verbs that can be used on this week's unit test. We also took notes over Direct Object Pronouns and Indirect Object Pronouns.
Span 1 - We completed a reading comprehension activity, available on google classroom and worked with a partner to practice a speaking activity.
Span 2 - We reviewed our vocabulary with Quizlet Live and submitted an EAWR Extracurricular Activities Brochure on google classroom. See google classroom for instructions over this project.
Span 3 - We read the next chapter of the Frida Kahlo biography (Frida, Leiber Frida) and completed the History Channel documentary over her life.
Span 1 - We began working on a powerpoint presentation over our likes and dislikes. See google classroom for instructions.
Span 2 - We reviewed the verbs Saber and Conocer with activities on google classroom. We also took notes in our foldables over Time Expression and began an writing activity on google classroom for practice.
Span 3 - We read the first chapter of Frida Kahlo's biography (Los Monstruos) on google classroom and completed a Venn Diagram while reading. We also began watching a documentary on Frida Kahlo's life and art.
Span 1 - We reviewed vocabulary with quizlet, whiteboards and vocab bingo.
Span 2 & 3 - Due to a large number of students absent for a field trip, we had a review day.
Span 1 - We handed in our foldables (el calendario) and took the quiz over Weather and Calendars. We also took our Spanish 1 pre-evaluation. Please see me if you were absent to make this up. We continued notes over the next vocabulary unit (Likes and Dislikes).
Span 2 - We took our Spanish 2 pre-evaluation. Please see me if you were absent to make this up. We also took notes in our foldables over the verbs Saber and Conocer.
Span 3 - We took notes in our foldables over two more irregular verbs (Dar and Ver) and played tic-tac-toe to review. We also reviewed vocabulary with Quizlet live and then continued notes over Frida Kahlo and her art.
Span 1 - We completed practice activities on google classroom to get ready for tomorrow's quiz over months, days, season, and weather. We also began notes over the next vocabulary unit - there is a handout for this in the makeup box.
Span 2 - We reviewed vocabulary with whiteboards and ended the hour with a quality/quantity comparison review on google classroom.
Span 3 - We reviewed vocabulary with whiteboards and continued notes over the life and art of Frida Kahlo.
