While I was away on a Peer Leadership field trip, all students watched a documentary over Spain's Running of the Bulls.
Span 1 - We played vocab bingo to review our Classroom & Schedules vocabulary.
Span 2 - No class today due to juniors filling out SAT pre-doc. Span 3 - We played Kahoot to review our notes over the Amazon Rainforest and then read Chapter 4 of "La Tumba." (See the make-up box for the packet.) Span 1 - We reviewed our Class Schedule vocab with Kahoot and an activity on google classroom.
Span 2 - We presented our Daily Routine slideshow in small groups and also worked on a partner interview, available on google classroom. Span 3 - We read chapter 3 of "La Tumba" and answered comprehension questions. See the make up box for handouts. Span 1 - We took notes over our next vocabulary unit (Classes and Schedules). If you were absent, please get this handout from the make up box. We also reviewed the new vocabulary with whiteboards.
Span 2 - We created a Venn diagram of our morning and night routines using our Spanish vocabulary. We then used this information to create a slideshow project (see directions on google classroom under "Daily Routine Project." Span 3 - We did a translation activity on google classroom and began notes over the Amazon Rainforest. Span 1 - We did a brief activity on google classroom (UN or UNA) to review for the quiz, which we took today. (If you were absent, please arrange an academic lab to make this up). We also read an article on google classroom titles "Latin Music" and listened to samples of each genre.
Span 2 - We continued notes over reflexive verbs completed a practice activity on google classroom. Span 3 - We did the Baby Photo project today! Span 1 - We reviewed personality vocab with Quizlet, then presented our "Yo Soy Yo" poems. We also completed review activities on google classroom (Personality vocab practice).
Span 2 - We completed a Daily Routine vocabulary organizer (see the make up box), played whiteboards and created a foldable. In our foldable, we began notes over reflexive verbs. Span 3 - We turned in the baby photo printed documents. We reviewed camping vocab with whiteboards, then continued reading "La Tumba." We answered comprehension questions based on the story (see the make up box). Span 1 - We worked on a translation activity for vocab practice and completed a partner interview activity using the personality vocabulary. We began work on writing a poem titled "Yo Soy Yo." The format for writing this assignment is up on google classroom.
Span 2 - We continued vocab notes over our Daily Routines. We also reviewed with Kahoot and ended the hour with vocab bingo. Span 3 - We began class with vocab bingo to review our camping vocabulary. We then moved into the library computer lab to print our 10 sentences for the Baby Photo project, which is due on Monday. Please do not forget to attach a baby photo of yourself to the sentences. Span 1 - We reviewed personality vocabulary with a partner activity. We also completed a Venn Diagram (on google classroom) to help us sort out our masculine vs. feminine vocab. We worked on Frases Desordenadas (on google classroom), in which we had to unscrable Spanish sentences.
Span 2 - We took our open-note test over the Extracurricular Unit and then handed in our foldables. We began vocab notes over our next unit, Daily Routines (see the make up box for the handout) Span 3 - We continued yesterday's partner interview using the imperfect tense. We also read together the first half of a new book we will be working on titled "La Tumba." The packet for this is in the make up box. Finally, we ended the hour brainstorming sentences for our upcoming "Baby Photo" project. Details are up on google classroom. Span 1 - We played bingo with our personality vocabulary. We also took notes over using adjectives in Spanish (please get these notes from a classmate if you were absent).
Span 2 - We reviewed Saber & Conocer and also completed an activity on google classroom to review how to create comparisons (Tanto/Tanta/Tantos/Tantas). We began creating our own comparison sentences to hand in for points. See google classroom "Comparison Sentences (Quality vs Quantity) for the outline of this activity. We discussed the open note test that will be tomorrow. Span 3 - We created foldables and took notes over the Imperfect Tense and its three irregular verbs. We completed a partner interview (on google classroom) and began brainstorming for an upcoming baby photo project (see me for details). We also did a vocabulary organizer on classroom, using the camping vocab. Please complete this organizer and submit. Span 1 - We played Quizizz to review our vocabulary and took our test over the Likes/Dislikes unit. We also began notes over our next unit (Personality).
Span 2 - We continued notes over Making Comparisons and completed activities to review on google classroom. Span 3 - We took notes over the next unit (Al Acampar/Camping), then played Kahoot and Find the Creeper with our new vocabulary! |
