Spanish 1, 2, 3 - Day of the Dead art projects: Calaca masks and sugar skulls! :-)
Spanish 1 - We quizzed over pronouns and AR verbs. We then discussed Day of the Dead and watched a video.
Spanish 2 - We quizzed over this unit's vocab. We then discussed Day of the Dead and watched a video. Spanish 3 - No class today due to a field trip. Spanish 1 - We reviewed pronouns and AR verbs in preparation of tomorrow's quiz. We completed writing practice activities and a vocabulary game. We ended the hour by working on a partner diagram.
Spanish 2 - We spent today on vocab activities in preparation of tomorrow's quiz. We completed a drawing/dictation activity and a paragraph about our own clothing styles and preferences. Spanish 3 - We completed the audio activity that we began yesterday (Charla con Juan) and began a discussion & video of Día de los Muertos. Spanish 1 - We reviewed our pronouns and AR verb endings. We then created eight verb charts (verbs of your choosing) and began working on the development of sentences. See me for details if you were absent!
Spanish 2 - We reviewed our vocabulary with a graphic organizer and audio activity. We also read a skit together and answered comprehension questions for points (see the make-up box.) We ended the hour with a partner worksheet. Spanish 3 - We reviewed our backward verbs and took a quiz. We then began an audio activity of listening to a Spanish interview with a native speaker and writing what we understood. Spanish 1 - Only 4th hour met due to early dismissal. Today we played vocab bingo and completed a Spanish trivia competition in groups.
Spanish 2 - No classes met due to early dismissal. Spanish 3 - We watched episode 7 of Destinos and completed a comprehension worksheet while viewing. Spanish 1 - We collected the class schedule posters and took a vocabulary quiz. We then began notes on conjugating AR verbs.
Spanish 2 - We continued notes over 2A vocabulary and played vocab bingo for review. Spanish 3 - We quizzed over the imperfect tense, checked last night's homework and completed an audio activity with backward verbs. We ended the hour with a whiteboard review. Spanish 1 - We reviewed subject pronouns and then began a graphic organizer over our class schedule. From the graphic organizer, we created posters over our classes and our opinions of them. Spanish 2 - We took our Chapter 2A test and handed in our foldables and graphic organizers. We then began notes over 3B vocabulary and created a new foldable. Spanish 3 - We played our baby identification game based off the baby projects and pictures. We also continued notes on backwards verbs. Spanish 1 - We reviewed our "class subjects" vocabulary with a speaking and partner activity. We then took notes over subject pronouns. There will be a vocab quiz coming up on Wednesday.
Spanish 2 - We completed the last page of the vocab graphic organizer and played a game to review possessive adjectives. Our chapter test is tomorrow (Vocab, Reflexive verbs, possessive adjectives). Spanish 3 - We reviewed the imperfect tense and took notes in our foldables over special days in Spanish-speaking countries. We also took notes over backward verbs and ended the hour by working on our baby project (due tomorrow). Spanish 1 - Today we created foldables for Chapter 2A and did a listening activity with our new vocabulary. We read a skit and answered questions for points. (See the make up box if you were absent.) We ended the hour with vocab bingo.
Spanish 2 - We took an open-note quiz over SER/ESTAR. We also began notes over possessive adjectives and completed practice activities. Our chapter test is coming on on Tuesday, the 22nd. Spanish 3 - We took our vocabulary quiz and watched Destinos while answering a comprehension worksheet. |
