All classes reviewed the final exam study guide and began watching a movie. Students taking the final were able to review with me one-on-one at my desk. We will continue this for Tuesday and Wednesday as well. Final exams will be held on Thursday and Friday. (See your Student Exam Notes for times.)
Spanish 1 and 2 - We worked on the study guides for final exams. If you were absent, please check the make up box to pick yours up, as I am giving a completion grade.
Spanish 3 - We took our Navidad quiz and watched Destinos, ep. 13. Spanish 1 - We handed in our 3B foldables and our graphic organizer (Tree) and then took our chapter test (Dinner Foods and Health). We then began work on the final exam study guide.
Spanish 2 - We handed in our 3B foldables and then took our chapter test (Driving and Giving Directions). We then began work on the final exam study guide. Spanish 3 - We took notes over our Christmas packet (Paraguay) and then completed an art project. (Sombrero Gingerbread Man!) Spanish 1 - We reviewed the irregular verb SER and took notes over the verb DEBER, which follows the normal pattern we learned last unit. We also discussed the material that will be on tomorrow's chapter test. Finally we created DEBER posters telling a friend what they should do to be healthy. Spanish 2 - We read a Spanish article on driving safety and statistics and completed a comprehension activity. We also discussed the material that will be on tomorrow's test. Finally, we read an article over Christmas traditions in Mexico, completed a crossword with vocab from the article, and learned some familiar Christmas songs in Spanish! Spanish 3 - We read two more articles from our Christmas packet (Nicaragua & Puerto Rico) and took notes over the traditions in our foldables. We also created a graphic organizer over the similarities and differences of Mexico's and Colombia's Christmas traditions. Finally, we learned a few Christmas carols in Spanish! Spanish 1 - We took our vocabulary quiz over the dinner unit, took notes of the verb SER and completed a worksheet using this verb and adjectives. Please see the make-up box if you were absent.
Spanish 2 - We took the quiz over irregular commands and created a Rules of the Road Poster. We ended the hour with vocab bingo. If you were absent, see the make-up box for the packet of articles we will be using this week. Spanish 1 - We reviewed adjective rules with the game "Trading phrases," and completed a partner interview that we will turn in tomorrow.
Spanish 2 - We reviewed our irregular verb flashcards in preparation for tomorrow's quiz. We also reviewed the present progressive tense with the game "Trading phrases" and handed in a worksheet for points. Please see the make-up box if you were absent! Spanish 3 - We created foldables for this week's Christmas unit and took powerpoint notes over "Navidad en México." We also got a set of Christmas vocabulary words. Spanish 1 - We took notes over how to make adjectives plural and did a group activity with our food description vocabulary. If you were absent, please get these notes. We also completed activities for speaking points and handed in yesterday's partner worksheet.
Spanish 2 - We took our vocabulary quiz over "Giving Directions" and reviewed affirmative commands in preparation for Tuesday's quiz. We then began notes over the Present Progressive tense. If you were absent, please get these notes. Spanish 3 - We watched Destinos, completed a viewing comprehension sheet and a quiz afterwards. Spanish 1 - We completed a graphic organizer of healthy and unhealthy foods, which we turned in for points. (See the make-up box if you were absent.) We also completed several activities for speaking points and ended the hour with a partner worksheet that we will check & collect tomorrow.
Spanish 2 - We reviewed how to form regular & irregular affirmative commands. We completed an obstacle course challenge using our commands and direction words. We ended the hour with a whiteboard review of vocabulary to prepare for tomorrow's quiz. Spanish 3 - We handed in our foldables and took our chapter 10 test. Spanish 1 - I passed back our graded tests and foldables. First hour reviewed vocabulary, completed comprehension questions over a skit and played vocab bingo. Fourth hour began notes on vocabulary and completed comprehension questions over a skit. If you were absent please see the make-up box.
Spanish 2 - We reviewed our vocabulary with a game of "Lo tengo." We also took notes over irregular commands. (Please get these notes if you were absent.) We also read an article on the Mexican subway system and using gestures as commands. Spanish 3 - We reviewed for tomorrow's Chapter 10 test and completed a study guide. Spanish 1 - We turned in our foldables and took our Chapter 3A test. We then began vocab notes on our next chapter (Dinner & Health).
Spanish 2 - We took notes over giving directions, completed a map activity and a partner worksheet for points. Spanish 3 - We completed an audio activity using the preterite and present perfect tenses and played the dice game for review. We also began notes on using "Lo + Adjectives." |
