Span 1, 2 & 3 - All classes participated in a Spanish-speaking country trivia competition.
Span 1 - We did a lesson over Latin music, continued working on yesterday's powerpoint presentations and turned them in on google classroom.
Span 2 - We took notes in our foldables over the verbs SABER & CONOCER and did a practice activity on google classroom in our foldables. Span 3 - We completed the questions over Chapters 7 - 10 of "La Tumba." Span 1 - We began a powerpoint project over our likes and dislikes - please see google classroom for instructions.
Span 2 - We worked on and submitted yesterday's comparison project on google classroom. Span 3 - We finished reading the last packet of "La Tumba" and began answering comprehension questions in groups. Span 1 - We completed a reading comprehension activity for practice with our new vocab and also played vocabulary bingo to review.
Span 2 - We wrote a sloppy copy for a powerpoint presentation that we will create tomorrow. Please check google classroom for a guide to the ten sentence you must create for the project. Span 3 - We reviewed our sandal verbs with a whiteboard activity and began reading the final packet of "La Tumba." Span 1- We collected our calendar foldables and performed the weather skits with our partner. We also took vocabulary notes for the next unit. (5th hour handed in their weather posters today as well).
Span 2 - We reviewed making comparisons with two activities on google classroom. Span 3 - We continued answering the reading comprehension questions from Friday's story packet of "La Tumba." We also took notes over preterite verbs and sandal verbs. Span 1 - We took the weather quiz and completed/handed in our weather poster project. The requirements for this project are on google classroom.
Span 2 - We took the vocab quiz for chapter 1B (extracurricular activities). We also reviewed making comparisons with a group writing activity. Span 3 - We read together chapters 4 - 6 of "La Tumba." Span 1 - We created a partner skit using our weather vocabulary, which we will perform tomorrow. We also have a weather quiz tomorrow. We ended the hour working on the weather poster - the requirements are posted on google classroom.
Span 2 - We read a skit together and answered comprehension questions for points. We also took notes in our foldables over making comparisons and completed an activity, available on google classroom. Span 3 - We completed a Mexico trivia competition in small groups. Span 1 - We handed in yesterday's homework and began work on our weather poster project (requirements are on google classroom).
Span 2 - We created a foldable for Chapter 1B and also completed a vocabulary organizer. Span 3 - We completed comprehension questions in small groups over chapters 1 - 3 of "La Tumba." We also took notes over the preterite tense and completed a practice worksheet. Span 1 - We took the quiz over the Spanish calendar and began notes in our foldables over weather. We did the first two sections of "weather activities" on google classroom.
Span 2 - We took our boot verb open-note quiz. We also continued vocabulary notes for Chapter 1B. Span 3 - We reviewed yesterday's paragraphs over Diá de los Muertos and read chapters 1 - 3 of our novel "La Tumba" in order to answer comprehension questions. Span 1 - We did a calendar review activity on google classroom and discussed the Spanish tradition of the running of the bulls. We also finished working on our calendar project. There is a multiple-choice calendar quiz tomorrow.
Span 2 - We did a study guide for tomorrow's boot verb quiz; this study guide is available on google classroom (Boot verb fill-in-the-blank). We also began vocabulary notes for Chapter 1B. If you were absent, please hand in the foldable for Chapter 1A. Span 3 - We presented our boot verb powerpoint projects to the class. |
