Spanish 1 - We took our vocabulary quiz and competed in a Spanish trivia competition for a prize.
Spanish 3 - We finished and turned in the questions over Humacao and watched Destinos, after which we completed a viewing activity for points.

Spanish 1 - We took our vocabulary quiz and competed in a Spanish trivia competition for a prize. Spanish 3 - We finished and turned in the questions over Humacao and watched Destinos, after which we completed a viewing activity for points. Spanish 1 - 1st hour took our vocabulary quiz and 4th hour will take the quiz tomorrow. We warmed up with a speaking activity using the six questions we wrote yesterday. We then began writing a partner skit that we will share on Monday.
Spanish 2 - We gave our Show N' Tell presentations and then answered comprehension questions from yesterday's story Burbuja. Please turn these in if you were absent today. Spanish 3 - We took the vocabulary quiz and then continued our review of POR/PARA. We completed the 2nd part of yesterday's worksheet for discussion and created our own POR/PARA sentences for a group review game. Spanish 1 - We completed vocabulary review activities for oral points and written activities as well. We also took notes on how to ask someone to go with us and accept or reject. Tomorrow is our vocabulary quiz.
Spanish 2 - We quizzed over the imperfect tense, wrote the final copy of tomorrow's show n' tell speech and ended the hour with a story which we will answer comprehension questions over. Spanish 3 - We reviewed the uses of POR & PARA with an individual and group activity. We also reviewed vocab and grammar with whiteboards. Spanish 1 - We received our tests back from yesterday and 4th hour continued vocabulary notes. We also completed audio activities & read a skit and answered comprehension questions for points. Spanish 2 - We reviewed the imperfect tense in anticipation of tomorrow's quiz. We also did a written activity over indirect object pronouns. Finally we began the brainstorming process for Thursday's show n' tell speeches. Don't forget to look for/print out your visual aid! Spanish 3 - We continued discussion on the immigration story packet we read yesterday. We then began notes on Por vs. Para and completed a partner worksheet for practice. Spanish 1 - We collected our 4a foldables and took the chapter test. We then began vocabulary notes on chapter 4b.
Spanish 2 - We began with activities to review the imperfect tense (which we will quiz over on Wednesday). We then began notes on Indirect Object Pronouns. Spanish 3 - We reviewed the entries in our DQ dictionaries. We also created flashcards of vocabulary for our immigration unit. We did a vocabulary activity for oral points from our textbook and began reading a story packet. Spanish 1 - We reviewed for our Chapter 4a test on Monday (vocabulary, the verb IR, the four ways to say "to go," and question words). We did an audio activity over question words and played the dice game in small groups to review the verb IR (to go). We ended the hour by answering comprehension questions over the Miguelito story.
Spanish 2 - We reviewed 4a vocabulary with an audio activity and handed in Wednesday's homework. We then took notes over the three irregular imperfect verbs (IR, VER, SER) and completed a partner worksheet. See the make-up box if you were absent. Spanish 3 - We watched Destinos, completed a comprehension activty while viewing and ended the hour with a quiz over the episode. Spanish 1 - We reviewed question qords, took notes on how to phrase a question and completed a partner activity. We began reading a story that we will be working on tomorrow as well. We also reviewed the verb IR (to go) and the four different ways of saying "to the." In addition we took notes on question words and completed a partner activity. There is a vocabulary quiz tomorrow on Edmodo. Spanish 3 - We registered for LCCC credit at the beginning of class. We warmed up with a StudyBlue review of yesterday's vocabulary, and created a list of difficult or important words. From these, we created flashcards and played vocal bingo to help with memorization. Spanish 1 - We reviewed our vocabulary with flashcards, created foldables for chapter 4A and did activities for speaking points. We also took notes over the new verb IR (to go).
