Span 2 - We took the DOLORES quiz and also performed our medical skits. We also took notes in our foldables over the irregular preterite verbs.

Span 1 - We reviewed SER & ESTAR uses with a partner interview and whiteboards. We ended the hour reading a story that uses these two verbs.

Span 1 - We reviewed this unit's vocabulary with whiteboards and also took notes over the verbs SER & ESTAR and their uses (TOPPP ELF).
Span 2 - We continued working with the verb DOLERSE and completed the practice worksheet we began on Thursday. We did a practice quiz on DOLERSE in preparation for tomorrow's quiz. We then got into groups of two to create a partner skit that will be performed tomorrow. If you were absent please see the make-up box and check your school email. Span 3 - We finished "La Misma Luna" and took a quiz over it after viewing. We discussed carnaval in Latin American and did an art project (mini-carnaval mask magnets) Span 1 - We presented our restaurant scripts. We also completed the final draft of our 5 celebrity paragraphs. Tomorrow we will do an activity with our paragraphs in small groups.
Span 2 - We took our vocabulary quiz (accidents/injuries) and completed practice with the verb DOLERSE. See the make up box for a handout. Span 3 - Due to the majority of students being our for a fieldtrip, we had a study hall day. Span 1 - We received a handout of restaurant phrases and used it to create a partner skit, which we will perform tomorrow. If you were absent, please see the make up tray for this handout.
Span 2 - We took notes over the verb DOLORSE, played a kahoot review and finished the body parts poster from yesterday. Span 3 - We enjoyed Rosca de Reyes (King Cake) and continued watching La Misma Luna. Span 1 - 1st hour reviewed with vocab bingo and the rest of the hours read a skit on pg. 250 of the book. We ended the hour with writing celebrity descriptions for an activity later this week.
Span 2 - We spent the day reviewing Spanish body parts with Simon Says and a partner dictation activity. We are also working on a poster project: Draw a person, monster, alien or animal (but NO stick figures) and label the body parts in Spanish. For labeling use out new vocabulary on the sheet as well as the review vocabulary in our foldable. Span 3 - We reviewed time expressions, took notes on Adverbs and began watching "La Misma Luna." There will be a quiz at the end of the movie. Span 1 - We took notes over Vocabulary 5A (Restaurants and People). We played bingo to review our new vocab. See the make up tray for a handout.

See the make up tray for a handout. Span 1 - We continued watching the movie "Sweet 15." There will be a quiz at the end of the movie.

Please check your school email for instructions on this project. Span 3 - We took the LCCC proficiency exam, created a foldable and took notes over "time expressions." At the end of the hour all classes made Spanish Valentines!
Span 1 - We handed in our chapter 5A foldables and took the quiz over possessive adjectives and the verb TENER. Span 2 - We created translations to practice our background/interrupting event sentences. Span 3 - We created a Venn diagram to organize our notes over last week's documentary on migrant workers. Span 1 - We discussed tomorrow's quiz over possessive adjectives and the verb TENER (to have) and completed review activities. We began watching the quinceañera movie Sweet 15.
Span 2 - We took notes on a graphic organizer over "background and interrupting events." We then began the brainstorming process for a fake news article that we will be writing later this week.
