Spanish 2 - We played vocab bingo, followed by a vocab quiz. We then completed a group writing activity together.

Spanish 1 - We took a quiz over the vocabulary, completed activities in the book for oral points and finally received a study guide for Monday's chapter test.

Spanish 3 - We watched episode 3 of Destinos and completed a comprehension worksheet while viewing. Spanish 1 - Today we reviewed likes/dislikes vocabulary in preparation for tomorrow's quiz. We completed a partner activity for review and finally began work on a "Me gusta/No me gusta" poster. See Srta. L for paper and instructions.
Spanish 2 - We reviewed vocabulary today in preparation of tomorrow's vocab quiz and completed an activity with a partner and a book activity as well. Spanish 3 - We reviewed the uses of SER & ESTAR and their present and imperfect charts. We also created a rough draft of journal entry #3 which we will revise later, focusing on the imperfect tense. Spanish 1 - We performed our partner weatherman skits and turned them in for a grade. We also reviewed yesterday's vocabulary with oral activities and flashcards.
Spanish 2 - We reviewed yesterday's vocabulary with flashcards and took notes over the verb IR and it's two uses (going to a place/going to do an action). We then read a skit from the book and completed a reading comprehension activity. Please see the make up box. Spanish 3 - We reviewed and collected last night's homework and made foldables for Chapter 9 notes. We refreshed over our new vocab and then took notes over the imperfect tense. Spanish 1 - We took our poem quiz (written part and oral part). We reviewed weather vocabulary, and we also spent time working on the weatherman skit which we will perform tomorrow. Finally, we got new vocabulary for Chapter 1A along with a handout.
Spanish 2 - We took notes on new vocabulary for Chapter 1B. We also created foldables and did two audio activities. We finished class by making flashcards for our new vocab. Spanish 3 - Today we began notes on Chapter 9 vocabulary. We then began work on a vocab worksheet which we will check and collect tomorrow. Spanish 1 - We reviewed weather with flashcards and also went over pronunciation on the weather poem. We began a weather skit, which required work in the computer lab. Spanish 2 - We reviewed our study guide, took our chapter 1A test and began notes on the new unit's vocab. Spanish 3 - We watched our first episode of Destinos and completed a viewing comprehension worksheet for points. Spanish 1 - We took our quiz over calendars and began notes over weather. We completed practice activities with our new, weather vocab and started a partner activity.
Spanish 2 - We re-tested over boot verbs. We then reviewed our chapter notes and vocabulary in preparation for tomorrow's test and began a study guide. Spanish 3 - We reviewed with white boards and then took our chapter 8 test. Spanish 1 - We reviewed vocabulary of months and days and worked on the memorization of our month poem. We then began work on a calendar project - you create a calendar page for the month of your choice, writing days, numbers and the month in Spanish. Please add color and creativity. See me for paper.
Spanish 2 - We reviewed boot verbs today in preparation for tomorrow's re-test of the boot verb quiz. (Those who scored an A or a B do not need to re-take this). We made corrections on the original tests and completed review activities. Spanish 3 - We completed and checked a study guide in preparation for tomorrow's chapter test. Spanish 1 - We reviewed months and days of the week and then learned a poem using our new vocabulary. We also have a homework assignment over writing dates.
Spanish 2 - We took our boot verb quiz and also completed a review of negative and affirmative words. We then began a reading comprehension activity together. Spanish 3 - We took our quiz over DOPs and IOPs and then began a reading comprehension activity from the book. We are shooting for our first unit test on Thursday. Spanish 1 - We completed notes over the gender of nouns and worked on an activity for practice. We also made a foldable for our new unit and began notes on months and days.
Spanish 2 - We collected the rules poster and checked/color-coordinated the boot verb charts to prepare for tomorrow's quiz. We also did two review activities over negative/affirmative words. Spanish 3 - We began with a review of IOPs and DOPs in preparation for tomorrow's quiz. We then completed an audio activity titled "Charla con Mitch" and discussed our answers afterwards. Spanish 1 - We quizzed over body parts and then began notes over the gender of nouns. We also learned vocabulary for common classroom items.
Spanish 2 - We reviewed boot verbs with our flashcards and a written activity. We also began notes over affirmative and negative words. Remember that the rule poster and the boot verb charts are due on Monday! Spanish 3 - We reviewed the uses of IOPs and DOPs and their placement in sentences. We worked on this through written, oral and audio activities. |
