Span 1 - We reviewed the alphabet in preparation for monday's quiz. We also discussed Spanish names and continued taking notes over basic conversation. Please get there notes if you were absent.
Span 2 - Today we worked on reading comprehension. We read an article and answered questions for points. If you were absent, please get the article from the make up box. We also took notes over the present tense in our foldables. Span 3 - We continued working with the YOGO verbs by creating a partner interview. We also received a handout over the oral quiz will take Monday using our YOGO verbs. Span 1 - We continued working with the Spanish alphabet and also learned a song to help with vowel sounds. We then began notes on basic conversation.
Span 2 - We reviewed the verb SER then broke into small groups to create celebrity descriptions using our adjectives. Span 3 - We reviewed the YOGO verbs with flashcards and a song. We then broke into small groups to review these verbs by playing the dice game. Span 1 - We continued notes on classroom expressions and then completed an activity on cognates. We also began learning the Spanish alphabet.
Span 2 - We created foldables and took notes in the sections labeled "SER" and "ADJECTIVE RULES." We completed a reading activity together to review last year's verbs and vocab. Span 3 - We continued our "LO TENGO" game from yesterday. We began notes over irregular "yo" verbs in the present tense and completed a short in-class writing activity as well. Span 1 - We began learning classroom expressions and also did a mixer to meet other students.
