Span 1 - We handed in yesterday's skit, practiced conversation and talked about the Spanish translations of our names.
Span 2 - We took the SER & Adjective quiz on Edmodo and completed a review activity of the present tense. Span 3 - We presented yesterday's paragraphs to me one-on-one to critique pronunciation and grammar. Span 1 - We took the alphabet quiz and completed an audio activity using the vocab sheet we filled out yesterday. We ended the hour by writing a partner skit which we will perform and hand in tomorrow.
Span 2 - We reviewed for tomorrow's SER & ADJECTIVE quiz. (The quiz will be on Edmodo.com - please make sure your account is up-to-date.) We ended the hour with notes to review the present tense. Span 3 - We created a foldable for Chapter 8, took notes over the present tense and its irregulars and ended the hour by creating a paragraph over hobbies and free-time activities, using the present tense. Spanish 1 - We reviewed the alphabet in preparation for tomorrow's quiz and also began notes on conversation. Please see the make up box if you were gone.
Spanish 2 - We collected yesterday's written book assignment and completed an audio activity in our foldables. Spanish 3 - We hi-lighted key words on our vocabulary sheet and played vocab bingo. Span 1 - We reviewed alphabet pronunciations, learned a vowel song and did a practice spelling-bee. The quiz will be on Thursday.
Span 2 - We collected last night's homework (7 questions over the article) and took notes over a review of adjectives. We read a skit on Pg. 2 and answered questions in Activity 1 to hand-in. Span 3 - We continued vocabulary notes over Chapter 8. Span 1 - We completed two activities over cognates and began learning the Spanish alphabet.
Span 2 - We checked and collected Friday's homework and created our first foldable of the year. We took notes in our foldables over the verb SER & adjective rules. For homework, we have an article to read and short questions to answer. Span 3 - We checked and collected Friday's homework. We then began vocabulary notes over chapter 8 (Passtimes & Hobbies) which we will continue tomorrow. Spanish 1 - We took notes on classroom expressions and phrases. Spanish 2 - We reviewed last year's vocab and verbs with an ice breaker game and answered questions about an article over singer Bruno Mars. Spanish 3 - We read two Spanish articles for reading comprehension and oral points. For homework we are answering written questions. Due to the heat schedule only hours 4, 5 & 6 met today. We received assigned seats and a copy of classroom rules and procedures. We also began an ice-breaker game.
