Span 1 - We discussed infinitives of verbs and completed a group game for review.  We also listened to Latin music samples and identified characteristics of each genre.  We ended the hour with whiteboards to prepare us for tomorrow's vocab quiz.


Span 2 - We reviewed how to create comparisons and began notes on the verbs SABER & CONOCER (to know).  We completed a written activity from the book and played a group game for review.


Span 3 - We took notes over the Imperfect tense and created a partner interview.

Only hours first through third met today due to early dismissal.

Spanish 1 & 2 - We completed a Mexico trivia web quest and watched a video over the highlights of Mexico City.

Span 1 - We read a skit from the book and answered questions for points. We also completed a partner worksheet.  Please see the make up box if you were absent.


Span 2 - We took our vocabulary quiz and reviewed last night's homework on comparisons.  We also took notes over comparing quantities and completed activities from the book for practice.


Span 3 - We reviewed this unit's vocabulary with a worksheet and group discussion for oral points.

Span 1 - We reviewed yesterday's vocabulary and created a graphic organizer.  We ended the hour with vocab bingo.

Span 2 - We reviewed vocab with StudyBlue and an audio activity in preparation for tomorrow's quiz.  We then began notes on how to make comparisons in Spanish.

Span 3 - We warmed up with vocabulary bingo, then assembled our foldable for Chapter 9.  We also took notes on holidays and special occasions native to Spanish-speaking countries.

Span 1 - We collected the weather poster and this unit's foldables, then took our weather & seasons quiz.  We also began notes on Chapter 1a vocabulary. See the make-up box if you were absent.


Span 2 - We read a skit from the book and answered questions for points. We also completed a partner worksheet.  See the make-up box if ou were absent.


Span 3 - We took our Chapter 8 test and handed in our unit's foldables.

Span 1 - We checked Friday's homework and reviewed weather expressions in preparation for tomorrow's quiz. We then began a Spanish city weather poster project (see the makeup box for the handout).


Span 2 - We continued notes on Chapter 1b vocabulary, created a foldable for this unit and completed an audio activity.  We then reviewed vocab with bingo.


Span 3 - We checked the study guide in preparation for tomorrow's test and began new notes on Chapter 9 vocabulary.

Span 1 - We reviewed the weather expressions we learned yesterday and completed practice activities from our book.  We also created a partner skit and completed a worksheet (for homework if not finished in class).


Span 2 - We took out Chapter 1a test and began vocabulary notes over our next unit.


Span 3 - We completed an audio activity and began working on our chapter study guide in preparation of next week's test.

Span 1 - We did a final review worksheet of months and days and then took our quiz.  We also began notes on weather expressions.


Span 2 - We warmed up with practice of negative/afirmative words and then completed the study guide for this unit in preparation of tomorrow's test.  We also worked on a group reading comprehension activity with this chapter's vocabulary.


Span 3 - We took an open-note quiz over DOPs & IOPs.  We then worked on an audio comprehension activity with a native Spanish speaker and ended the hour with a group reading comprehension exercise.

Span 1 - We read a Spanish poem about the months of the year and completed two book activities for practice.  We also watched a youtube clip of the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain, and discussed this festival.  We continued work on the calendar projects, due tomorrow.  Tomorrow will also be our quiz over months and days.


Span 2 - we reviewed negative and affirmative words and completed a practice activity in our foldables.  We also did an audio activity using this unit's vocabulary.  We brainstormed and wrote a paragraph over school preferences and shared them aloud. For homework, we are completing a worksheet over negative/affirmative words.


Span 3 - We reviewed the usage of DOPs + IOPs with several book activities and also completed a listening comprehension activity.  For homework, we are completing a DOP + IOP worksheet.

Span 1 - We polled over the bull fighting debate and began our calendar project.  Your calendar project requires you to create a page for the month of your choice, with the month, days and numbers written in Spanish.  See me for poster paper.


Span 2 - We reviewed the conjugation of boot verbs and then took our boot verb open-note quiz. We also began notes over affirmative and negative words.


Span 3 - We reviewed the usage of Direct Object Pronouns and began notes over Indirect Object Pronouns.  We played a whiteboard review and created sentences for a group translation game.
