Span 1 - We reviewed the verb JUGAR and read the next chapter of Miguelito. We answered comprehension questions for points.
Span 2 - We continued work with reciprocal verbs, doing a partner activity and an audio activity. Span 3 - We worked on creating our Formal Command posters. Span 1 - We played the dice game in small groups to review future tense sentences. We then began notes on the boot-verb JUGAR (to play).
Span 2 - We completed an audio activity, then read a skit from the bok and answered questions. We also took notes in our foldables over reciprocal verbs. Span 3 - We reviewed how to create formal commands, took notes over commands using -GAR/CAR/ZAR endings and worked in the computer lab to print photos for our posters. Span 1 - We took our vocabulary quiz and continued practice with creating sentences in the future tense (IR + a + infinitive).
Span 2 - We continued our vocabulary notes on Chapter 4B (Special Occasions), made a foldable for the new unit and ended the hour with vocab bingo. Span 3 - We reviewed formal commands and took notes over its irregulars. We did a practice worksheet and then began brainstorming for a poster project. (See me for details). Span 1 - We handed in Friday's Miguelito questions for a grade. We also began notes in our foldables over "future plans" and began a practice activity from the book which we will continue tomorrow.
Span 2 - We took our open-foldable test over chapter 4a (childhood), handed in our foldable and began vocabulary notes for chapter 4b (Special occasions). Span 3 - We took our vocabulary quiz over professions and watched episode 9 of Destinos. Span 1 - We reviewed vocabulary for oral points and read the next chapter of "Miguelito." we answered comprehension questions after reading.
Span 2 - We reviewed the imperfect tense and direct object pronouns in preparation of Monday's test. We also read a Mexican fable (El Grillo y El Jaguar). We ended the hour with a chapter study guide. Span 3 - We read the 3rd chapter on Don Quijote and answered comprehension questions for points. We also began notes on formal commands. Span 1 - We did an audio activity, read a skit & answered questions for points and ended the hour with small group bingo (a twist on our normal bingo game!)
Span 2 - We took notes over indirect object pronouns and did practice activities with a partner. Span 1 - We created foldables for 4B and took notes over asking/accepting/rejecting. We then created a partner skit for practice.
Span 2 - We did the Show n' Tell speeches and played whiteboards for vocab review. Span 3 - We reviewed reciprocals and vocabulary with an activity from the book. We also read the next chapter of Don Quijote. Span 1 - We took the open note test over chapter 4a, reviewed the "Miguelito" questions from Friday and began vocab notes on Chapter 4b (Making invitations).
Span 2 - We worked on our Show n' Tell speeches (due tomorrow) and completed a Spanish trivia competition for points. Span 3 - We watched episode 8 of Destinos and answered comprehension questions while viewing. Span 1 - We reviewed questions words and the verb IR with a partner activity and then began the story "Miguelito." We answered comprehension questions over the story after reading.
Span 2 - We reviewed the imperfect tense with a practice worksheet and then began writing our Show N' Tell speeches. Presentations will be Wednesday, the 21st. Span 3 - We reviewed reciprocals with the 6-square activity, completed vocabulary practice for speaking points and read the next chapter of Don Quijote. Span 1 - We took more notes in our foldables over question words and did practice exercises from the book using them.
Span 2 - We took notes over the three irregular verbs of the imperfect tense (IR, VER, SER) and completed a practice activity. We then began brainstorming for our show n' tell presentations due Tuesday. Span 3 - We created vocabulary flashcards and foldables for chapter 12, then began notes over reciprocal verbs. |
