Please have your printed copy and baby photo ready for Tuesday. Span 1 - We read an article on pg. 28 of our textbook and turned in act. 3 (pg. 29) for points. We also completed a partner worksheet activity using our current vocabulary.
Span 2 - We reviewed verbs SABER & CONCOCER in preparation for tomorrow's quiz. We also took notes over "Comparisons" in our foldable and completed activities 10 & 11 on pg. 53 of our book. Span 3 - We reviewed the differences between the preterite and imperfect past tenses. We also discussed and began work on our Proyectos de bebé (Baby projects). Please check your school email for instructions on this project. Span 1 - We took notes over our new vocabulary (Likes/Dislikes) and played bingo to review. If you were absent, see the makeup tray for your vocab sheet. Please get notes from a classmate.
Span 2 - We reviewed verbs CONOCER & SABER with an activity on pg. 57 of our books and with whiteboards. Span 3 - We took our quiz over Lego Verbs. We also took notes in our foldable over the imperfect tense (regulars an irregulars) and played a group conjugation game for review. Span 1 - We took our vocab quiz (Weather/Seasons) and continued work on our weather posters, due today.
Span 2 - We took our vocab quiz (extracurricular activities), created a foldable for Chapter 1B and took notes over the verbs SABER & CONOCER. We also finished and handed in our EAWR extracurriculars poster project. Span 3 - We reviewed Lego Verbs with a worksheet and organizer. We also did a review activity using our verbs on the whiteboards. Span 1 - We checked and collected the weather/seasons puzzle. We also began a weather poster project over a Spanish speaking city's weekend forecast. Please see the make-up tray for a copy of the instructions.
Span 2 - We read skit on page 48 and answered comprehension questions. We also began a poster project using our extracurricular activities vocab sheet. Please check your school email for instructions. Span 3 - We took notes over the irregular preterite and did a hi-lighting activity with the story "Un coach nuevo" using our regular and irregular preterite verbs. Span 1 - We performed our weather skits for the class, and I also collected the written copies for points. We also worked on a vocab crossword that we will check on Monday to review.
Span 2 - We played bingo with our new set of vocabulary for Chapter 1b. Span 3 - We took notes over the irregular preterite/lego verbs and began work on translating a story ("Un Coche Nuevo"). Span 1 - We broke into partners to write a weather skit that we will perform tomorrow for points. If you were absent, please check your school email as I will send you a copy of the skit outline.
Span 2 - We took vocabulary notes over our next chapter (extracurricular activities). The handout is in the make up tray for absent students. Span 3 - We did a reading comprehension activity over a story on page 24-5 of the textbook and handed our summaries in at the end of the hour. Span 1 - We read an article over the differences in seasons between the northern and southern hemispheres. We also completed an activity using average temperatures in various Spanish speaking countries.
Span 2 - We handed in our foldable and took the test over Chapter 1a (School Rules). Span 3 - We handed in our Sandal Verb cheat sheet for points and also took the sandal verb quiz. Span 1 - We took notes in our foldable over weather and completed a whiteboard review for practice. We also handed in pg. 19, activities 1 & 2 for practice.
Span 2 - We registered for an Edmodo account. We also discussed tomorrow's chapter test (school rules vocabulary, affirmative/negative words, boot verbs). We reviewed for the test with whiteboards. Span 3 - We created a "sandal verb cheat sheet" for tomorrow's open note quiz and played matamoscas for a review. Span 1 - We took our vocab quiz (over months and days). We continued work on our calendar posters, which are due on Monday.
Span 2 - We took the boot verb quiz and did practice activities over our negative and affirmative words. Span 3 - We worked in groups on Spanish pop trivia. |
