Span 1 - We played a game of vocabulary scattegories and began work on our Preterite Tense Powerpoint project. If you were absent, please get the handout from the make up tray and see me for instructions.
Span 2 - We took our vocabulary quiz over the Outdoors Unit. We also created a partner skit that we will perform and Monday and set up for a vocab game that we will play next week. Span 3 - Fieldtrip to Los Tres Amigos!!!! :-) Span 1 - We completed the dice activity in small groups to review our preterite tense endings. We also took notes over stem-changing verbs in our foldables.
Span 2 - We did a warm-up activity using Ud. and Uds. commands. We also began a poster project - see the make up tray for the paper and see me for instructions. Span 3 - We did a group reading of a story "El cuento de Prom" and we played bingo to review yesterday's new vocabulary. Span 1 - We took notes in our foldables over the preterite tense and did practice activities in our foldables.
Span 2 - We created a foldable for Chapter 7B (The Outdoors) and took notes over both Usted and Ustedes commands. Span 3 - We took notes over the next vocab unit (Means of Communication) and worked on creating a Cinco de Mayo bulliten board display for the outside of the classroom! Span 1 - Due to many students out on a fieldtrip today, we watched the documentary "Living on $1.00"
Span 2 - We got notes on Chapter 7B vocabulary (The Outdoors) and played bingo to review. Span 3 - Art project: We hand-painted maracas from Mexico!!!! Span 1 - We handed in our poster projects and worked on Spanish trivia in small groups.
Span 2 - We took our test over negative and affirmative commands and handed in our foldables for chapter 7A. Span 3 - We handed in our virtual travel binders and worked on Spanish trivia in small groups. Span 1 - We reviewed vocabulary with Kahoot and began a poster project. We are creating a mall that has 6 stores labeled in Spanish. Each store must have 4 items drawn in it and each item labeled in Spanish. The poster must also be colored.
Span 2 - We discussed tomorrow's quiz over commands and did a study guide as well. We worked on completing our recipe books. Span 3 - We did a partner practice with the future tense and also completed a listening comprehension exercise. Please note that the virtual travel binders are due tomorrow! Span 1 - We created foldables for Chapter 7B and completed an audio activity using our new vocabulary. We read a skit on pg. 348 of the book and answered comprehension questions for points. We ended the hour with a whiteboard review.
Span 2 - We reviewed our negative and affirmative commands with a warm-up activity from the projector. We also began working on our "Libros de Recetas/Cook Book" projects. If you were absent, please see me for details on this project. Span 3 - We had our last work day in the library lab for the virtual travel projects (due this Friday). Span 1 - We took notes over 7B vocabulary (Gifts & Stores) and played vocab bingo to review.
Span 2 - We took notes in our foldables over spelling changers in the negative command form. We completed a practice sheet with negative and affirmative commands, and we ended the hour by brainstorming 3 recipes for our recipe booklet project. Span 3 - We reviewed the future tense with a group game and also completed a listening comprehension project. We ended the hour discussing idioms and their usage in the Spanish language. In addition to the activities below, each class completed an activity after reading an article over Easter celebrations in Spanish-speaking countries.
Span 1 - We took the open-note quiz over boot verbs and demonstrative adjectives. We turned in our 7A foldables also. Span 2 - We took the vocabulary quiz over our cooking unit. Span 3 - We finished the documentary "Living on $1.00" Span 1 - We completed a partner drawing dictation activity to review vocabulary, numbers and demonstrative adjectives. We also discussed Easter traditions in Mexico.
