Span 1 completed a Disney song Spanish trivia competition, and Spanish 3 completed a pop trivia Spanish competition. Spanish 2 did not meet today due to pre-doc for testing.
Span 1 - We reviewed PODER & DORMIR with two activities on google classroom. We also played the dice game and I SPY to review our verbs and colors.
Span 2 - We read a skit (El Mosquito) and answered comprehension questions for points. We also handed in last night's homework over the present perfect tense and began working on questions for the "Have You Ever" game that we will play next week. Span 3 - We finished "La Misma Luna" and took the quiz. We also began vocab on our next unit's vocabulary (Las Etnias y Los Inca) Span 1 - We played Kahoot to review colors and vocabulary. We also took notes in our foldables over boot verbs and prepped for tomorrow's dice game.
Span 2 - We reviewed backwards verbs with a warm-up activity on google classroom. We also continued notes over the present perfect tense and its irregulars. We received a practice worksheet (we did the translation side together and are completing the fill-in-the-blank section for homework). Span 3 - We continued watching "La Misma Luna." There will be a quiz after viewing! Span 1 - We did a word-search competition to review our colors. We also began a project - draw your bedroom and label 10 items in Spanish. Add color! (I have poster paper in the classroom.)
Span 2 - We checked and collected last night's homework over backwards verbs and completed a partner activity as well. We played Kahoot to review our vocabulary, and we took notes in our foldables over the present perfect tense. Span 3 - No class today due to the majority of students on a field trip. Span 1 - We created foldables for this unit (El Dormitorio) and we took notes over colors. We did two practice activities on google classroom, using our colors. We ended the hour with a whiteboard review.
Span 2 - We presented our movie critiques to the class! For homework, we are completing a worksheet using our backwards verbs. Span 3 - We began the movie "La Misma Luna," as part of our immigration unit. There will be a quiz!!! Span 1 - We took our open-note test (Restaurants & Descriptions) and handed in our foldables. We began vocab notes over our next unit, El Dormitorio (Bedroom).
Span 2 - We played Quizizz to review our movie vocabulary. We worked on creating our movie critiques, which we will present in class on Monday. Please see google classroom for directions on how to write this critique. Span 3 - We took our test over the Immigration Unit and handed in our foldables. We discussed the Venn diagrams that we created over the documentary, and I also read aloud a story written by a young field worker. Span 1 - Today we discussed tomorrow's open-foldable test over the Restaurant & Descriptions unit. We also reviewed TOPPP ELF with a whiteboard activity. We watched a video skit (Casa Rio) and answered comprehension questions while viewing. We ended the hour with a vocabulary study guide.
Span 2 - We reviewed our movie vocabulary with whiteboards and then took notes in our foldables over Backwards Verbs. We began brainstorming for tomorrow's movie critique project. Span 3 - We finished watching our documentary "La Cosecha." For homework, we are using our Venn diagram to compare the lives of the Zumela, Perla and Victor. We also received a review sheet for adverbs, which we will check tomorrow before our unit test. Span 1 - We reviewed TOPPP ELF with a practice activity on google classroom. We also took notes in our foldables over "Ordering in a Restaurant" and created a partner skit, which we turned in on google classroom via video.
Span 2 - We handed in our foldables and took our test over the Games & Competitions unit. We watched a short youtube clip over the Mayan ballgame and turned in yesterday's Venn Diagram. We also created new foldables and did notes over movie genres. Span 3 - We began watching a documentary (La Cosecha) over the lives of migrant field workers. As we watch, we are completing a Venn diagram. Span 1 - We reviewed Firday's notes over TOPPP ELF (Ser & Estar) with a class practice activity and we then began work on a TOPPP ELF slideshow project, due tonight at 11:59 pm. Span 2 - We reviewed our notes over PONERSE + Emotion with a class practice activity. We also discussed what to expect on tomorrow's test over our Games & Competitions unit. We took notes over new vocabulary (Movies) and ended the hour with a Venn Diagram activity over the Mayan Ball Game. Span 3 - We took notes in our foldables over Adverbs and finished the final two chapters of Fiesta Fatal. Span 1 - We played the "Celebrity Game" with yesterday's sentences. We also took notes in our foldables over the verbs Ser and Estar (TOPPP ELF).
Span 2 - We checked and collected yesterday's homework over shoe verbs and their translations. We took notes over PONERSE + Emotions and began a slideshow project, due on Sunday at 11:59 pm. The directions are on google classroom. Span 3 - We began work on a Time Expressions project, due on Sunday at 11:59 pm. The directions are in the 6th hour make up box. |
