Span 2 - We created a foldable for 5A, took notes over shoe verbs and completed a reading comprehension activity over earthquake safety. Span 3 - We continued the documentary over migrant field workers. Span 1 - We did a paragraph translation for a warm-up on pg. 229 of the textbook. We also completed a partner worksheet and played the dice activity in small groups to review the verb TENER.
Span 2 - We completed a vocabulary organizer over the notes we took yesterday (natural disasters). We also played whiteboards and sccattegories for review. Span 3 - We hi-lighted key vocabulary for the immigration unit and completed a vocab organizer. We read a poem and a story about immigration in the United States. We ended the hour with vocab bingo. Span 1 - We took notes over the verb TENER (to have) and completed practice activities on pg. 228-9 of the text book.
Span 2 - We handed in our 4B foldables and began vocab notes on our new unit (natural disasters). See the make up tray for a handout. Span 3 - We handed in our chapter 4 foldables and took new vocabulary notes for the next unit (Immigration). Please see the make up tray for a handout. Span 1 - We reviewed family member vocab with a kahoot game and played vocab bingo. We also answered skit questions on pg. 225 for points. If you were absent, please make up this activity.
Span 2 - We completed brainstorming for our holiday poster project and began working on the poster, due Monday. If you were absent, please check your school email for a message from me. Span 3 - We completed our Nosotros Commands presentations and worked on creating idiom posters! Span 1 - We collected the foldable for chapter 4B and created a new one for chapter 5a. We also took vocabulary notes over "fiestas" and "family members."
Span 2 - We did a practice activity to review and translate sentences using the preterite and imperfect clue words. We also began brainstorming for tomorrow's poster project. Span 3 - We gave our nosotros commands presentations today. Span 1 - We reviewed IR + A + INFINITIVE sentences with an activity called "El horario de Mario." We completed and handed in our future plans poster project.
Span 2 - We took the quiz over reciprocal verbs. We also reviewed yesterday's lesson over the Dominican Republic carnival season with a kahoot game. We ended the hour with notes over the imperfect and preterite tenses and their clue words & phrases. Span 3 - We read and summarized the short story "Nadie me quiere." We finished working on the nosotros commands powerpoint project (which we will present tomorrow). |
