Span 2 - Due to many students being out for a field trip and SAT testing, remaining students watched a documentary over Mexican cuisine.
Span 3 - We continued reading Fiesta Fatal and answered comprehension questions.
Span 1 - We took the boot verb quiz over PODER & DORMIR and handed in our foldables. We also read the next chapter of the Miguelito story and answered comprehension questions together. Finally, we began notes on our new vocab unit (La Casa).

We also read an article on pg. 288-289 of the book and answered comprehension questions.
Span 2 - We took the open-note quiz over PONERSE. We also took notes in our foldables over shoe verbs and finished working on the PONERSE + Emotion powerpoint project. If you were absent, please check your school email. Span 3 - We read Chapters 4 & 5 of "Fiesta Fatal" and took notes over our next vocabulary unit (Trabajos y el Mundo Profesional). Span 1 - We took notes in our foldables over the verbs PODER & DORMIR and completed practice activites.
Span 2 - We took our vocabulary quiz over the competition vocab. We also began work on the emotion powerpoint project - please see the make up tray for the directions to this project. Span 3 - We discussed the origin and traditions surrounding la quinceañera and we read the next chapters of Fiesta Fatal. If you were absent, please look in the make up tray for a copy of the story. Span 1 - We took the color quiz and then began work on a "making comparisons" poster project. Please check your school email for directions to this project.
Span 2 - We did a translation warm-up to prepare us for tomorrow's vocabulary quiz. We continued notes over PONERSE + Emotion, completing a practice worksheet. We also began brainstorming for a powerpoint project using emotion vocabulary. Please see the make up box for a handout. Span 3 - We took the test over our Peru & Inca Empire unit. We began reading the book "Fiesta Fatal." Span 1 - We reviewed colors with an activity using the flags of various Spanish speaking countries. (There will be a color quiz on Monday.) We continued notes over making comparisons and wrote practice sentences using what we have learned.
Span 2 - We reviewed our vocabulary with whiteboards and a game of "Lo Tengo" to help us prepare for Tuesday's quiz. We created a foldalbe and began notes over PONERSE + Emotion. Span 3 - We discussed the upcoming quiz on Monday, which will cover our Incan vocabulary and culture notes. We also finished the Machu Picchu documentary. Span 1 - We spent the day reviewing bedroom and color vocabulary with games and activities. We ended the hour with notes over making comparisons.
Span 2 - We completed a vocabulary organizer, played Kahoot and worked on a puzzle to help learns this unit's new vocabulary (Competitions). If you were absent, there is a handout in the make up tray. Span 3 - ¡Día de trabajar! Span 1 - We worked on audio activities to review our colors and bedroom vocabulary. We completed and handed in yesterday's poster project.
Span 2 - We took the quiz over The 33 and completed notes over our new vocabulary unit (Competitions) Span 3 - Today was a work day due to NHS rehearsal. Span 1 - We reviewed our color vocabulary and answered questions over a skit on pg. 274 of the book. We began working on a poster project: Design a poster of your bedroom and label 10 items in Spanish. Vocabulary must come from our current unit or a previous unit.
Span 2 - We finished the movie The 33 and will take a quiz over it tomorrow. Span 3 - We reviewed our Inca notes with a game of Kahoot and with whiteboards. Span 1 - We began our new unit (Mi dormitorio) and took notes over our vocabulary. We also created foldables and learned the colors in Spanish.
Span 2 - We continued watching "The 33." There will be a quiz at the end of the movie. Span 3 - We presented our Incan powerpoints in groups and took notes over each presentation. The information presented today will be included in our unit exam. |
