We also created a foldable and took notes over "Time Expressions." We completed watching "La Cosecha" and finished the rest of the sections in our Venn diagram. Span 1 - We took our open-note test (Restaurants & Physical Descriptions) and handed in our foldables. We also read the next chapter of "Miguelito" and answered comprehension questions. Span 2 - We took our open-note test (Accidents & Injuries) and handed in our foldables. We also performed our doctor/patient skits. Span 3 - We continued watching the documentary "La Cosecha" over migrant workers, while filling out our Venn Diagram. Span 1 - We discussed Monday's open-note test over our restaurant/physical description unit and completed a study guide. For homework, we are creating a google doc of 8 sentences using the TOPPP ELF situations (one sentence for each). You can use yesterday's hand out as a guide.
Span 2 - We continued notes on our cheat sheet over irregular preterite verbs and played Quizizz for review. We also discussed Monday's open-note test over the accident and injury unit. We began writing a patient/doctor skit using our vocab and verbs. The skit outline is on google classroom. Span 3 - We reviewed Immgration vocab with Quizlet Live and began watching the documentary "La Cosecha" over underage migrant field workers. There is a Venn diagram that goes with this video - see the make up box. Span 1 - Today we reviewed Ser vs Estar with a practice worksheet (see the make up box), a whiteboard activity and Kahoot.
Span 2 - We reviewed our accident and injury vocabulary with two activities on google classroom. We also played Kahoot for review. We ended the hour with notes and a cheat sheet over the irregular preterite. See the make up box for the handout. Span 3 - No class today due to NHS rehearsal. Span 1 - We performed our restaurant skits today and took notes in our foldables over SER vs. ESTAR.
Span 2 - We completed a webquest over the 33 Chilean miners (on google classroom). 4th hour played the bubble game to review vocab. Span 3 - We took notes over our next vocab unit (la Inmigración). Span 1 - We broke into pairs and read Thursday's celebrity true/false sentences. We also watched a video skit (Casa Rio) and answered comprehension questions on google classroom. We ended the hour by writing a partner waiter/customer restaurant skit, which we will perform tomorrow.
Span 2 - We reviewed the verb DOLERSE with a warm-up activity and played the "Seeing Double" monster game to review body parts. We also did a monster drawing/dictation with a buddy. Span 3 - No class due to most students out on a field trip. Today our classes went to the café to take part in Cody’s going-away party. 3rd hour had our Pennies for Patients donut party.
6th Hour handed in foldables and took the test over the Travel/Subjunctive unit. The “Mi Viaje” project is due by 11:59 PM tonight. |
