Spanish 1 - Today we did a review audio activity and then took our vocab quiz over clothing & numbers 100-1000. We also took notes on the boot verbs PENSAR, QUERER & PREFERIR and began a writing activity that will be continued on Monday.
Spanish 2 - We received back our graded tests and created flashcards and foldables for our new chapter. We read a skit from the book and answered comprehension questions for points and ended with vocabulary game.
Spanish 3 - We received back our graded tests and watched episode 20 of Destinos, after which we took a comprehension quiz.
Spanish 1 - We reviewed clothing and number vocabulary today in preparation for tomorrow's vocab quiz. We completed speaking and audio activities, a word puzzle and a partner worksheet.
Spanish 2 - Second hour completed Spanish pop trivia for extra credit. Sixth hour took the Chapter 6A test and took notes over 6B vocabulary. (Classes are split today due to ACT prep!)
Spanish 3 - We took the Chapter 13 test and handed in our booklets over the subjunctive.
Spanish 1 - We received back our graded tests from yesterday, then completed our vocab notes for 7A. We also did an audio activity with numbers 100-1000, read a skit from the book and answered comprehension questions for points.
Spanish 2 - We took our Chapter 6A test, handed in our foldables and then began vocabulary notes on Chapter 6B (Movies).
Spanish 3 - We discussed tomorrow's test, completed a study guide and checked/discussed it together for oral points. The test tomorrow will be over our communication vocabulary and the subjunctive mood.
Spanish 1 - Today we listened to a song that reviewed this chapter's vocabulary and then we took the 6B test. We also handed in our foldables from this unit. After the test, we began vocab notes over Chapter 7A (clothing and shopping) and made new foldables.
Spanish 2 - We began class with an activity and video clip that reviewed shoe verbs. Next we discussed tomorrow's test and completed a study guide. The 6B test will be over games/competition vocab, shoe verbs, and using verbs to show emotion.
Spanish 3 - Today we completed an audio activity by listening to an interview and taking notes over what we heard. We also completed a writing comprehension exercise over politics in Central America. Finally, we created flashcards over the subjunctive phrases we learned yesterday.
Spanish 1 - Today we reviewed what will be on tomorrow's chapter test (chore vocab, commands, present progressive). We also completed a study guide in class and reviewed it together.
Spanish 2 - We gave our speeches over our favorite TV show and then took notes over shoe verbs. We completed a written activity with shoe verbs at the end of class.
Spanish 3 - We did several warm-up activities for oral points and also reviewed how to create subjunctive sentences. We discussed and collected Thursday's homework sentences and then took notes over additional subjunctive phrases.
Spanish 1 - First hour reviewed making commands, did two activities for oral points and read a Spanish fairy tale after which we answered comprehension questions. Fifth hour completed Spanish pop trivia.
Spanish 2 - We took our vocabulary quiz over games & competitions. We then completed a partner worksheet over PONERSE with emotions, which we then checked and collected. Finally, we began writing a paragraph over our favorite TV shows. We will present on Monday.
Spanish 3 - We took our vocabulary quiz over modes of communication, watched episode 19 of Destinos and then took a comprehension quiz after viewing.
Spanish 1 - First hour did a Spanish pop trivia activity with a substitute because I was in a meeting. Fifth hour reviewed commands, completed two book activities and then read a Spanish fairy tale, over which we answered comprehension questions at the end.
Spanish 2 - Today we reviewed sports & competition vocab in preparation of tomorrow's quiz. We then took notes over Verbs + Emotion and completed a practice worksheet, which we checked together with a board activity.
Spanish 3 - We reviewed communication & media vocab in preparation of tomorrow's vocab quiz. We completed an audio activity and reviewed the subjunctive with a written activity. We then began creating our own subjunctive sentences for homework, which we will check tomorrow.
Spanish 1 - We began class with a review of the present progressive tense. We then took notes over how to create affirmative tu commands and completed a writing activity afterwards, giving commands to a personal butler.
Spanish 2 - We reviewed yesterday's vocabulary by filling out an organizer. We also completed an audio activity and read a skit from the book.
Spanish 3 - We created vocab flashcards and took notes over the subjunctive tense in our booklets.
Spanish 1 - We began class with review activities of house & chore vocabulary. We also reviewed how to create sentences using the present progressive tense, and we have a short writing assignment for homework. (Please turn in your house project if you did not do so before break!)
Spanish 2 - We took vocabulary notes over Chapter 6A (Games & Competitions) and then played a vocabulary game.
Spanish 3 - We took vocabulary notes on Chapter 12 (Means of Communication) and then played a vocabulary game.
