Span 1 - We handed in the "Miguelito" questions from Friday and did a written and audio activity over the Simpsons family tree. We then began notes over possessive adjectives. Tomorrow will be our vocabulary quiz.
Span 2 & 3 - Final day of work on carnaval masks! Span 1 - We reviewed the verb TENER, completed a partner worksheet and read the next chapter of "Miguelito." Afterwards, we answered comprehension questions.
Span 2 & 3 - We created carnaval masks in the style of Nicolás Den Den, one of the famous carnival characters we've studied who appears during the Dominican Republic carnival season. Span 1 - We took notes over the verb TENER and completed practice activities individually and in small groups.
Span 2 - We took our Chapter 4B test, handed in our foldables and began new vocabulary notes for our next unit. Span 3 - We reviewed informal commands with a practice worksheet. We read an article over the carnival season in Spain and looked at a powerpoint of costumes. Span 1 - We did an audio activity with our new vocab, read a skit and answered comprehension questions. We ended the hour with vocab bingo.
Span 2 - We reviewed the carnival webquest from yesterday, discussed tomorrow's test and completed a study guide. Span 3 - We continued work with informal commands through the 6-square game and activities. Span 1 - We handed in our 4B foldables and took our 4B test. We then created foldables for the next unit and began vocabulary notes.
Span 2 - We did the six-square game to review preterite vs imperfect and also completed an audio activity. We then discussed "carnival" in the Dominican Republic and completed a webquest, which we will check tomorrow. Span 3 - We took a quiz over formal commands, read the next chapter of Don Quijote and began notes over informal commands. Span 1 - We worked on a study guide in preparation for tomorrrow's test over chapter 4b.
Span 2 - We took notes over the preterite vs. imperfect tenses and completed practice activities. Span 3 - We watched the next episode of Destinos and answered comprehension questions for points. |
